Terms of Use

By using BigSkyHorseEvents.com, users agree to these terms and all applicable policies.

Big Sky Horse Events, LLC (“BSHE”) provides an online platform that allows independent event organizers to list equestrian and horse-related events and collect participant registrations.

BSHE is not the organizer, operator, promoter, or sponsor of events listed on the platform unless explicitly stated otherwise for a specific event.

BSHE reserves the right to modify platform features, policies, and terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

Privacy Policy

BSHE collects basic account and registration information necessary to operate the platform, including name, email address, registration information, and payment information processed through secure third-party processors.

BSHE does not sell personal information. Information may be shared with event organizers for the purpose of managing event registrations and operating listed events.

By using the platform, users consent to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

Organizer Agreement

Event organizers using the BSHE platform agree that they are fully responsible for:

  • Event planning, production, and safety
  • Compliance with all local, state, and federal laws
  • Insurance and liability coverage for their events
  • Event rules, competition format, and participant eligibility
  • Management of participants, volunteers, and spectators
  • Determining refund, cancellation, and transfer policies

BSHE provides the technical platform only and does not control, supervise, manage, or operate listed events.

Organizers are solely responsible for communicating event details, requirements, cancellations, and policy updates to participants.

Participant Waiver

Participants register for events at their own risk. Participation in equestrian and horse-related activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, illness, death, or property damage.

By registering for an event listed on the BSHE platform, participants acknowledge that:

  • They assume all risks associated with participation
  • They must follow all rules established by the event organizer
  • They must sign any required waivers or releases required by the organizer
  • They understand BSHE is not responsible for event operations or on-site safety

Refund / Transfer / Cancellation Policy

Refund, transfer, and cancellation policies are determined by the individual event organizer.

Participants should review each event listing and organizer policies carefully before registering.

If an event is cancelled, postponed, rescheduled, or modified, the event organizer is responsible for communicating with participants and handling any refunds or transfers according to their policies.

BSHE is not responsible for issuing refunds unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Platform Overview

Big Sky Horse Events, LLC operates an online platform that allows independent event organizers to market equestrian and horse-related events and collect participant registrations.

BSHE provides website, registration, and payment-processing infrastructure only.

BSHE is not the event organizer unless explicitly stated for a specific event. Event organizers are solely responsible for event operations, rules, staffing, scheduling, safety, insurance, and participant management.

Payment Processing

Online registration payments are processed through Stripe Connect or another third-party payment processor on behalf of the event organizer.

BSHE may collect a platform service fee for use of the registration system.

BSHE does not control the organizer’s pricing, refund policies, or event rules.

Limitation of Liability

BSHE provides the platform on an “as-is” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BSHE shall not be liable for damages arising from:

  • Participation in listed events
  • Actions or omissions of event organizers
  • Event cancellations, postponements, or changes
  • Injuries or losses occurring during events

All users, participants, and organizers agree that BSHE’s role is limited to providing the platform and registration infrastructure.
